Electronic documentation and widespread use of smartphones have reduced the number of print forms. Nevertheless, we believe there is still a demand for paper with the texture and paper printing capabilities to inspire creativity. Paper is used not only in print, but also in cardboard packaging, cosmetics boxes, paper packages, tissues, paper towels at home, etc.
Mineral products are used in many of these products. Talc and precipitated calcium carbonate are added to the paper, while heavy calcium carbonate and kaolin are used in coatings.
Fimatec produces heavy calcium carbonate for coatings at four domestic plants and in Thailand.
We offer grades for undercoatings, granule grades for top coatings, ultrafine grades that replace kaolin, and special grades that improve concealability and gravure printing suitability in accordance with client needs.
Additionally, we import and sell nano-sized processed starch as a binder for pigments on paper.
